Privacy policy

Last updated 19 October 2026

This policy explains what data Tapau Daily (https://tapaudaily.com) collects, why, and the choices you have. We follow Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010.

What we collect

  • Visit statistics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It doesn't use cookies and doesn't identify you.
  • Advertising. We show ads from Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, may place and read cookies on your browser, and may use web beacons and IP addresses, to serve and measure ads. Google uses advertising cookies to show you ads based on your earlier visits to this and other websites. Read how Google uses data from sites that use its services. You can turn off personalised ads in Google's ad settings.
  • Embedded posts. Some articles show posts from Instagram. These load from Instagram, which may set cookies and collect data as described in Instagram's privacy policy.
  • Newsletter. If you subscribe, your email address is stored by our newsletter provider, Kit, and used only to send the newsletter. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
  • Emails you send us. We keep them to reply and to follow up on tips, corrections and right of reply requests.
  • Hosting. The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes basic technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and block attacks.

What we don't do

We don't sell your personal data, and we don't ask you to create an account.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you. Email [email protected] and we'll reply within 21 days.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
